WHAT IS BODY TEMPERATURE?
Best Digital Laser Infrared Thermometer
Body temperature refers to the internal temperature of the body (core temperature). Normal human body temperature means that of a healthy person. Body temperature is likely to change depending on when, where and to whom the measurement is made.
There are different factors that have effects on body temperature, including time of the day, temperature of surrounding place, and level of activity of a person.
Different parts of the body (such as mouth, armpit, rectum, ear, and forehead) have different temperatures, and improper measurement may cause different body temperature. In addition, smoking, ovulation, pregnancy, and age can also affect body temperature.
It is, therefore, recommended that a person keep a record of his or her own normal body temperature after measuring several times at the same condition. Measurement in thick clothes on a warm day or after workout can make body temperature a bit higher.
What makes body temperature constant is central nerves in the hypothalamus of the brain. If body temperature rises, central nerves in the hypothalamus inhibit body temperature rise by expanding skin’s blood vessels and making sweat glands sweat more than usual, which cools the body .
On the contrary, at lower body temperature, they block heat loss by contracting blood vessels, which inhibits blood ow, and stops sweating. Human body temperature is always constant balancing heat gain and heat loss.
Understanding Infrared Thermometers
What is an infrared thermometer? An infrared thermometer is a digital thermometer that allows you to monitor your body temperature.
An infrared thermometer has a temperature sensor in it. This sensor will heat up when you start to sweat. The temperature of the sensor will increase. At this point, you can turn on the infra-red light and read the result.
When using an infrared thermometer to measure body temperature, there are three types of the infra-red light that is available. They are infra-red light emitting diode (LED), LED beam, and a piezoelectric device. The infrared thermometer that you will use will depend on what type of thermometer you are looking for.
Digital thermometers have a digital display that shows the temperature and a display that have a small icon to show how much of a percentage of the body is in contact with the temperature. You can also use a black and white display. With a black and white display, you are able to see the percentage of body that is in contact with the temperature. Digital displays have a backlight feature that will keep the display illuminated even when the device is not in use.
With digital thermometers, the resistance is measured in Pascals. If you know what Pascals are, it will help you in understanding the readings better. Another advantage of using digital thermometers is that you will be able to use them longer and store them until you need them.
Tapes are an ideal way to use a thermometer. The colors on the tape will allow you to read the temperature easily. For instance, the numbers are on the green and the text on the green or blue tape are the pascals.
Analog thermometers have a different level of accuracy. For those who want the best accuracy possible, you will need to choose an analog thermometer. It is important to note that the higher the accuracy, the more expensive the product will be.
A thermometer that has an array of sensors is better because it has many more features than the product uses. The features that the product uses are often a little more expensive. The reason is that these features require extra circuitry that is not readily available on an economical price.
Infrared thermometers are the most popular because of the fact that you can use them anywhere. Infrared light cannot be blocked by fabrics, so you will be able to use it in your pocket, on your kitchen counter, in your car, and even in your home. The benefits of using an infrared thermometer is that it is portable and that it can be used anywhere.
Some people prefer to read their temperatures on paper and the results are the same, but you will not be able to tell the difference because of the nature of the paper. On the other hand, the number one reason why people prefer infrared temperature sensors is because they can read their temperature in any place. With a temperature sensor that is accurate to within 10 degrees of a degree, it is easy to determine the temperature of the area where you are going to be working.
There are different types of thermometers that work best for measuring body heat. When trying to get a better reading, it is a good idea to try a few different types of thermometers to find the one that is right for you. It may be best to try several types of thermometers in order to find the one that is right for you.
The next time you are looking for a way to monitor your body temperature, consider using an infrared thermometer. Whether you are an athlete or just want to learn about your body’s temperature, these thermometers will make the job easier for you.
